Pease help Tegan

Donations are needed to help sweet Tegan
Tegan was rescued as a kitten with her sister, Sara. They were hiding inside the walls of a house that was about to be demolished. A caring worker got them out. They were unsocialized, but went to a foster home to be worked with. They turned out to be extremely sweet. They have been in a foster home since then. They are about a year and a half. They havn't found a home yet. Tegan was taken to the vet on Monday (1/11/10) because she wasn't as perky as usual. She seems to have an enlarged liver and had to be hospitalized. She is currently on IV fluids along with several medications. She is going to have a feeding tube put in in order to help keep her nourished. Once she gets starts eating again she should be able to be taken off of the fluids and can go back to her foster home. We are asking for your help. Her bills are rising by the day. We are already at a bill of almost $1,400. Tegan needs your help. We are not willing to give up on her and we are hoping you can help make sure she gets home to see her sister soon. Please conisder making a donation towards her care. Donations can be made directly our treating vet, mailed to our PO box, or dropped off at our adoption events. Thank you for your consideration and please keep Tegan in your prayers.

Little Siouxsie Sioux Had Her Surgery! Can she go home with you?

Little Siouxsie Sioux was rescued as a kitten with a deformed rear leg. We did all of the care needed and were hoping that she could kepe the leg, but the vets said that it was in her best interest to have it amputated. She has finally had the leg amputation and is recovering very well. So, what's next? She is looking for her forever family. She is moving around well without the back leg and it doesn't seem to even bother her that it is gone. She is still the active, lovable little girl that she always has been. She is still the sweet little girl that she was before she had the surgery. She is  a friendly, playful, girl that would enjoy the company of another cat in her new home. Are interested in offering little Siouxsie Sioux a home. If so, please contact us, because she wants to meet you.

We would like to thank the wonderful donor who has stepped up to help Siouxsie get the surgery that she needed. It is because of wonderful, caring people like you that we can rescue animals like Siouxsie. Once again, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Even though we have several kittens that are looking for home homes right now, please consider adopting a teenage or adult cat. They have been in foster homes and would love to find a home to call their own. This year was a particuarly bad kitten season. As a result many of these sweeties didn't find the right home when they were tiny kittens. We also rescued many mother cats that are still looking for homes, as well as many other deserving adult cats that would love to have a home to call thier own. If you have room in your heart and home please consider adopting one of these deserving cats.
